The Doctor roams the universe, alone once again inside the TARDIS. He spends time lazily orbiting a planet reflecting on his 200-year journey with the Ponds, and how badly he will miss them...
Just a simple image I decided to make after the Season 7 mid-season finale. Waited about a week so plenty of time for most fans to have seen the episode. No spoilers here, we already knew they were leaving. I'll be honest with you all, I did not cry for the Ponds. They've been here for two and a half seasons their leave was going to happen eventually. I cried for the Doctor. The loss of more companions, and once again ones who he can never see again. See you in December, Doctor, and try not to implode any galaxies while we wait.
P.S I made sure to listen to "Timelord Victorious" and "Vale Decem" while making this, puts me in that mood.
