The Doctor roams the universe, alone once again inside the TARDIS. He spends time lazily orbiting a planet reflecting on his 200-year journey with the Ponds, and how badly he will miss them...


Just a simple image I decided to make after the Season 7 mid-season finale. Waited about a week so plenty of time for most fans to have seen the episode. No spoilers here, we already knew they were leaving. I'll be honest with you all, I did not cry for the Ponds. They've been here for two and a half seasons their leave was going to happen eventually. I cried for the Doctor. The loss of more companions, and once again ones who he can never see again. See you in December, Doctor, and try not to implode any galaxies while we wait.

P.S I made sure to listen to "Timelord Victorious" and "Vale Decem" while making this, puts me in that mood.

thanks. Yes, I actually put some effort into my Tardis model. Found some really good HQ materials I could use. background was just from google, if I remember correctly.

I actually cried for the Pond because these were the first companions who I had seen when introduced to the Doctor but every companion it is always sad to see them go. This one was heartbreaking for the Doctor because these were people who he loved and realised he will always be alone. They had a good life and stayed together so the Doctor was happy for it but in the end he will always be alone.

Lovely picture.

I cried for the same reasons you did. To see the Doctor so broken and so alone again was heartbreaking.
